• Platform Engagement: We track your upvotes, "Flow" creations, and resources shared to attribute them to your profile and build the community leaderboard.

2. How We Use Data

Your data is used to:

• Create and maintain your community profile.
• Facilitate networking between students and collaborators.
• Personalize the campus broadcast and discovery feeds.
• Verify your eligibility to access the private network.

3. Data Sharing and Visibility

We take your privacy seriously:

• No External Sharing: We do not sell or share your personal data with third-party advertisers or external organizations.
• Internal Visibility: Your profile (name, skills, bio) is visible to other authenticated BS Connect users to enable networking. Private contact info (email) is only used for account management.

4. Data Security

Your account is protected by Google OAuth 2.0. We do not store your passwords. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your stored profile data.

5. Your Controls and Rights

You can update your profile information or academic details at any time through the Profile Settings. You can deactivate your account, which will hide your profile from the directory.
